JUST BECAUSE
                              He's mild mannered...

JUST BECAUSE
                              He's a natty dresser...

JUST BECAUSE
                            He's a doctor...

JUST BECAUSE
He's not a short little guy...

JUST BECAUSE
He doesn't comb his hair to one side...

JUST BECAUSE
He doesn't have that same funny looking mustache...

                         .
JUST BECAUSE
He wouldn't ordinarily strike you as a  madman...

JUST BECAUSE
THE WORLD ISN'T DOING A DAMN THING ABOUT HIM...

  3. The first time I saw him I had to keep looking, as if horns would grow or something. He does not seem a maniacal, blood thirsty murderer, but I guess if they did...

    Indeed, a great post.

  4. Excellent Timoteo!

Thing is I find him rather weird looking and yes I know he looks harmless, but he is too restrained and that worries me...

and 'Yes' it should worry us all as he is murdering his own people seemingly without guilt...

and 'Yes' the world isn't doing a damn thing about him...

could it be something to do with depleting oil reserves?

  7. BRIAN, SHERRY, THINGY, HYPERCRYPTICAL, (it's always about the oil, isn't it?) MAGYAR, (Thanks...I know I could really embrace that wisdom if I were an Alabama football fan!) CAT:

Thanks for your input on this gang..gets a little frustrating to see the double standards we have when it comes to intervention on humanitarian grounds.

  8. You have completely hit the nail on the head. It is actually quite chilling, the points you have raised. His eyes are cold and calculating. Quite scary.

  9. It seems to be an age of extremism and finger-pointing -- we all openly criticise others' horrors whle blatantly ignoring our own -- al-Assad, the Iraelis (Hamas, too, if they had something more powerful than sticks & stones), the US, Mubarak (granted, he's gone). But, in a way, it has always been, and will likely always be, like that. Change would initially require good, hard looks at ourselves, and well, it's a weakness to acknowledge our faults.

  10. KOBI KO,

So true...we are a violent, warlike species and I don't see that changing any time soon. Our world is an ego dominated plane of illusion--the illusion of separateness.

Now on to some really weighty matters...you changed the spelling of your name...what's behind that?
