It's very clear Obamacare is here to stay not for a year but ever and a day In time Newt Gingrich may stumble Rush Limbaugh may crumble they only bawl and bray but... Obamacare is here Obamacare is here Obamacare is here to stay-eeeeeeeeee (With apologies to George and Ira Gershwin, authors of "Love Is Here To Stay.")
smiles... i can only speak from my german point of view but we think very positive about what obama did with the healthcare system - that is because of our own healthcare background i think... the government shutdowns...ugh... difficult...
even if the govt must shut down it is...ha...ugh....i say we throw them all out.... our priorities as a country are all out of whack...i dont know that we can fix it, it being the govt...maybe we need to scrap it and start over...
From the UK perspective where health care is provided to everyone free at their time of need and paid for through general taxation, I find it hard to understand why anyone would wnat to oppose a healthcare system that ensures people get the help they need when they need it.
I don't pretend to understand US politics, but the current situation seems pretty silly to me; because the Republicans didn't win the Presidential election, ordinary working people have to be laid off without pay? Sorry, I'm not seeing the logic in that, or the political advantage that the Republican Party hopes to gain from this.
You can imagine how I am grinding my teeth into stumps in frustration up here over the refusal of half the govt to work with the other half, at whatever cost to millions of people. Argh.

Right now the government is shutdown due to the obama-healthcare.
ReplyDeleteThose republicans won't let it pass. Obama is trying to fight it.
Very happy to have it here to stayeeee
ReplyDeleteI do wish people (Congress) would accept it and just move forward.
