I seriously want my fridge to get with the poetry program and give me good things to feast on (other than what's inside). But at least your fridge is kind enough to share, Tim.
Oh, those two season romances are a big pain in the butt! :)
I thought it was pretty freakin' cold this year, but I am a desert rat these days! Anyway, you started with the goodbyes. Would you like to make a retraction? How about a transformation?
so simple and yet so well thought out...i need to spend time injecting more life into my fridge!!! I am sick of his monotone humming all day long, perhaps if there were words to the tune i would have more time for him!!!!! Thanks for sharing and being part of one Shot..i look forward to your return next week..cheers Pete

TALON,
ReplyDeleteYeah, the fridge kept pushing for the word "cold" in a poem--so there you have it.
I guess opposites attracts but don't always end up together, nice poetry
ReplyDeleteHot and cold
ReplyDeleteon either side
of the faucet stand
yet summer and winter
are keep far apart, by
springs and falls demands
LISSA,
ReplyDeleteFire sometimes dies when faced with the ice!
DESK49,
I LOVE your poem...and thanks for stopping by!
Oh, so sad
ReplyDeletethe goodbye
the inevitable winter
prevails
JEWELLSTAR,
ReplyDeleteSo cool to see you commenting! (Thankfully, the winters here are warm, staving off the need for goodbyes?)

ReplyDeleteA hot summer love,
A warm winter glove.
Too rhymie, I know.
Omigosh, so true in so few words.
ReplyDeletePS Thanks for stopping by my blog. Purple on the outside of your house. That is awesome. :-)
JEWELLSTAR3,
ReplyDeleteYeah, I like yours better! (Consider this a retraction...my fridge wrote it, after all!) lol
I'm glad it's back. I'm a big fan of your fridge poetry. It would make a good book!

ReplyDeleteI want a Winter GOODBYE, NOW before I've totally melted away, but hey cool fridge moment ;)
ReplyDeleteJEWELL ALLEN,
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked this one, and thanks for visiting!
SELMA,
Thanks, but the Fridge has put the book idea on ice for now!
PETE,
Yes, I'll be contributing!
LORRAINE,
The fridge, thankfully, has nothing but cool moments!
I'm always hopeful that "this time" there won't be a good-bye, but I guess no matter what, it will happen sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteKOBICO,
ReplyDeleteI don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello...hello hello?
Beatles fan, I see.
ReplyDeleteWish my fridge was that clever :)
