  3. LORRAINE,
Thanks...just a little change of pace.

    LISSA:
The desert is a place for those who can appreciate it's stark kind of beauty--a magical place that holds you in its spell...a place where coyotes AND people bark at the moon :)

  4. CINDY,
I been through the desert on a horse with no name...PLEASE, take the time to name your horses--and hold your horses when necessary :)

  5. I lived and worked in outback Australia for a while and I agree with your comments that it's a stark kind of beauty. There's a whole different aura out there in the wilderness isn't there? I can understand why you love it. Beautiful photos.

  7. How fortunate you are to have a national park right on your doorstep. I love cacti. I used to have a cacti and succulent garden in my old house. I also have a 12 foot cactus in a pot that is 25 years old. I would be in that park every day for ages if I lived where you do. How wonderful!

  8. SELMA,
The only drawback of living amongst abundant cacti is that when you're out hiking you can sometimes end up picking cactus needles out of your nether regions!

  10. I love the sunrise and sunset in the desert...A stark beauty that once experienced, I think is greatly appreciated by those that view her beauty.

You are fortunate to live in such a beautiful place :)

    Have a Happy Day!
